INFORMATION FOR UNITED WATER CUSTOMERS IN PAPAKURA
In Papakura, United Water will continue to provide
water and wastewater services and issue quarterly
Will there be any changes to how
my account is handled?
No. In accordance with its customer charter, United
Water is committed to billing on a quarterly basis
and will make no changes to the frequency of bills
or how your bills are presented.
Will there be any changes to how will
I pay my bills?
No. Payments can still be made in person at the
office of United Water at 116 Great South Rd
Papakura between the hours of 10.00am -5.00pm
Monday and 8.30am -- 5.00pm Tuesday to Friday.
United Water also offers a number of payment
options to suit our customers' needs. Payment can
be made by Cash, Cheque, Eftpos, Direct Credits and
Automatic payments through your nominated bank.

If you have any questions about our services or your
latest bill, please phone (09) 295 0515 during regular
United Water also provides a 24 hour
emergency response for service faults.

and your call will be answered by our
after-hours service team.
Integration of water and wastewater services in Auckland will bring about
changes for most customers in the city and surrounding area. However,
these changes will not affect people living in Papakura.
We are looking for 'angels' to help collect over the three days of our
appeal, Friday 12, Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November.
From Warkworth to Waiuku, Waitakere to Waiheke Island -- there is
bound to be a collection site near you.
You can even dress in costume if you would like!
The donations raised from Angels for Animals 2010 will go towards
our work by developing satellite services throughout the Auckland

Careful with fireworks
The Fire Service and SPCA Auckland
are urging people to take extra care
with fireworks this week.
Guy Fawkes is always a high risk
time for people and pets despite a drop
in fires and injuries in recent years,
fire safety officer Phil Faidley says.
Restricting sale of fireworks to four
days and raising the purchase age to
18 has significantly reduced callouts

Each year some animals are injured
or even killed after running on to roads
or through fences.
Ms Border asks anyone planning to
set off fireworks to be considerate of
neighbours with pets by warning them

Read the instructions on fireworks
and follow them
Light them in an open area
Don't point them at people or prop-
Never let a child light fireworks
Put any burns under cold running
water for at least 20 minutes.
