The College is New Zealand's first and foremost
provider of natural medicine.
Since the first members met in 1940, SPCNT has

SPCNT caters for the many and varied needs of
students committed to learning about this fascinat-

In the degree programme wisdom traditions are
integrated with scientific knowledge. Time is spent
studying the marketing, commercial and practical
aspects of setting up a practice or business in the
natural health field.
The first two years of study can be undertaken by
distance education. In 2011 the college will also offer
a world-first qualification, the Diploma in Tra-
ditional Pasefika Healing.
Graduates of SPCNT are testament to the fine job
this college does. Try googling Lani Lopez for
instance, and many of her achievements will be
listed, including health column writer, radio host,
book author and mentor.
Lani graduated from SPCNT in 1997 and is a
shining example of how far one can take a career in
These days SPCNT is entrenched in the Ellerslie
Community, offering locals the benefits of access to
the onsite and hugely popular natural medicine
student clinic, assisting clients to reach optimum
health and wellbeing, for a very reasonable rate.
