We are seeking an experienced dispatcher in our container
division who has the maturity & skills to respond to the
challenges of supervising drivers and vehicles - ensuring the
optimum performance of the shift to achieve operational
excellence and customer service by:
• To fully utilise the company dispatch system to ensure high
levels of effectiveness.
• Collate customer order advice and liaise with drivers/
customers re: freight collection.
• Ensure all drivers documentation is accurate and
• Checking and authorising of Daily Time Sheets in
compliance with statutory log book requirements for all
staff within your division
• Daily review and update of incomplete jobs.
• To have an accurate understanding of different vehicle
configurations and their legal capabilities and the ability to
purchase RUC licence.
This role will involve working from 7.00am to 6.00pm Monday
to Friday. This is a fast paced work environment which is both
challenging and rewarding. Some weekend work and
extended hours during weekdays, may be required
particularly around busy periods.

Research Assistants SWITCH Study
Clinical Trials Research Unit
The Clinical Trials Research Unit is located within the School of Population Health
at The University of Auckland Tamaki campus. The Unit is focussed on innovative
research aiming to reduce the major risks to health.
An opportunity is available for two Research Assistants to work on a research study
aimed at reducing the amount of time children spend in front of screens such as
TV, computers etc., and to determine the effect on body composition, sedentary
behaviour, physical activity and nutrition.
The successful candidates should ideally have a quali cation in health or work
experience in a similar role. The role involves recruiting participants from the
community, delivering components of the intervention, data collection and data
entry. In some instances this may mean working outside normal working hours
and/or in the weekend.
You will need good organisational skills, be reliable and on time for appointments
and work as part of a team. The role requires excellent communication and people
skills and experience in working with Maori and/or Paci c communities would be an
